Stunning Silicone Sculpture
I pined after the Mermaid dildo from Lust Arts from the moment I set my eyes on her. Like all the Lust Arts silicone sculptures, she's a work of art that could be easily displayed in a place of honour in your home. My desire to experience the Mermaid was only amplified because I'd been dating a woman I called my mermaid due to the fact that she pretty much is a mermaid. Shell bra. Father an undersea god. The whole shebang! It seemed like kismet to bring the two things together.
I received the Mermaid in the Deepest Wave colouring which is a light blue and gold iridescent over shimmering black. It very much reminds me of the sea and shimmers in a delightfully subtle way. It comes in 2 other original colours as well as a range of custom colours so you can design your perfect toy. Since the toy comes in dual density silicone, you can customize the preferred squish of your item from extra soft to firm. I asked for soft outer and medium inner for my Mermaid. And because the customization doesn't end with density and colour, you can also choose from one of 5 sizes. Being a bit of a Goldilocks, I went for the Moaner (medium) size.
As well as being incredible to look at, the Mermaid is a beautiful toy to touch. The silicone is squishy and velvety to the touch and all the curves and creases give a lot of beautiful texture.
I received the Mermaid just in time to bring her on a trip to the tropics with me and my mermaid. The first time I tried the toy I got to have the delightful and incredibly meta experience of having my mermaid fuck me with a mermaid. They definitely looked perfect together, though the thick base made it a challenge to get into the O ring of her harness..
I wasn't as warmed up as I could have been that first time and found the Mermaid a bit too rough on my g-spot, which can be over sensitive if not properly prepped. I loved the texture on the Lust Burster dildo and a few others I have so I assumed that it was just my body that day.
The next time I tried her out I was alone and made sure to warm up more thoroughly, using a smoother dildo first to prepare the tissues for texture. I also used tons of lube to assist in the glide. Unfortunately, it still wasn't comfortable, despite trying a bunch of different angles to try to find something that worked. I don't think this is any flaw with the toy but that she is merely incompatible with my junk. Sadness!
Choosing softer densities in the silicone would also likely assist in a less intense experience. The soft/medium combo feels very squishy in my hands but clearly isn't in my vag.
If you love a lot of texture with your toys, I would recommend the Mermaid as a great option. I'm clearly not the only one who has experienced a lot of intensity with the texture since there's a warning on the Lust Arts website in the description of the Mermaid. "If you do not enjoy texture this toy may not be a good match for your body."
The Mermaid would also be great for someone who wants a beautiful piece of mermaid art or someone who likes the idea of having a dildo they can display freely without any of their guests knowing what it's truly designed for.
