Throwback vibes with modern style
I smiled when I first saw the Lush Aurora Gyrating Rabbit Vibrator from Blush Novelties. It is reminiscent of the Vibratex Rabbit Pearl vibe from ‘80s (made famous in the late ‘90s on an episode of Sex in the City) but seriously upgraded to feature beautiful, smooth, silicone and luxurious glam touches. I had always wanted one of those rabbit vibes but hadn’t been able to afford it at the time so getting to finally get my hands on one felt great and was a pleasant throwback to my earliest years of sexual exploration. 
The pale pink Ultrasilk™ Silicone is as advertised, silky smooth, and although I’m not always mad for pink, I loved the pale ballet slipper pink of the Lush Aurora Gyrating Rabbit Vibrator, especially paired with the gold embellishments. Fully encased in silicone (with some ABS plastic for the gold flourishes), it is completely waterproof and safe for use in bath/shower, and is charged by a poke-style USB charger.
With a decently thick but not intimidating insertable shaft and cute bunny ears to stimulate the external clit, the Lush Aurora Gyrating Rabbit Vibrator has a lot going for it. The ears have 10 vibration settings (steady and patterns) and the rotating beads have 5 rotation speeds. Strangely, I really enjoyed the pattern settings on the rotating beads with my fave being one with a brief pause in the middle. 
Those rotating beads stimulate the g-spot in a way almost nothing else can replicate, although I discovered that I have to warm up a bit first since my g-spot felt a bit overstimulated if I just got straight to it. I’m not always the most patient when it comes to warming up before testing/masturbating but this toy definitely needed it for me to really enjoy the experience. The vibrating bunny ears for external clit stimulation are so ubiquitous these days but were originally used to skirt around Japan’s laws against making sex toys look phallic.
Cons:
- As has happened before with several toys, my anatomical measurements don’t match the person it had been designed for/on so I couldn’t get the rabbit ears of the Lush Aurora Gyrating Rabbit Vibrator to vibrate on the right part of my clit unless I forcibly bent the head down in an awkward manner and held it there. It was too small to be powerful enough to reach my deeper clit tissues the way I need to to get off
- Although I know there are limitations in design and execution of toys, the rotation only went one way which felt like a missed opportunity for variety. Also because the majority of my internal clit tissue is on the left side, I really wanted the stroke to move that direction
- Again, although I know not every toy can do everything, the lack of vibration in the tip of insertable shaft also left me wanting more. If that could have been included it would have been *chef’s kiss* because the firm shaft reached deeply inside and if it had vibrated my A spot, I might have wanted to marry the toy
Summary:
The Lush Aurora Gyrating Rabbit Vibrator is a beautiful, high quality, fun throwback, but it is not the toy for me.
