The Happiest Dildo Evar!
I had coveted my neighbour's Polka Dot Jollet for years, even more so because it had been discontinued, so very sad that a piece of sex toy lore that was so gorgeous, so full of ridiculous and beautiful puff balls was lost was lost to the ages. What a delightful surprise when Luz Arte brought it back in 2018 and although there are now countless colour and decorative variations in the handmade Jollet (flowers, hearts, stars, swirling colours, and more, plus 7 different colours of glitter), the polka dots will always have my heart.
I was overjoyed when Luz Arte offered to send me one with a small imperfection at the base, giddy with the knowledge that the happiest dildo ever would be mine. Alas, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I was out of work, and although I now had a LOT of time on my hands, I also had no libido. So other than a quick trial run the first day I received it, and smiling every time I looked at it, I could not get excited enough to get lube on my hands and give the Jollet the attention it deserved. Finally, I was able to grab enough energy thanks to a stat holiday, wore gloves to override my lube aversion, and I got to testing.
First things first, the silicone of the Jollet is firm. Like really firm. Like not dissimilar to steel or glass firm. Its contours come from a mould made of a woman's vagina so it is meant to fill you up, which it definitely does. It's a pleasure to have inside and squeeze against, though getting it there for me is not an easy feat. More about that later.
The Jollet comes with a hole in the base and a small (but decent for its size) USB rechargeable(!) bullet vibe. A We-Vibe Tango or Blush Nocturnal also fits if you're looking for a stronger vibration. Though the Jollet is more of a rock inside kind of dildo, the hole would also work with vacu-lock harnesses for thrusting. For fans of stronger vibration there is also a version of the Jollet that includes an attachment designed to accommodate the head of a Wand vibrator (although it's at a right angle which works well for back wankers but less so for stomach wankers like myself). I just pressed mine against the base of the Jollet.
As I've mentioned before in reviews, I've got a prominent pubic bone and a narrow opening, so I have some issues accommodating large toys, and although the Jollet doesn't look intimidating the way the stainless steel njoy Eleven does, it was equally challenging, and slightly painful, to get it inside me. I used a ton of lube, then more lube, and laughed out loud when, after feeling like I must have almost all of it inside me, I looked down to find I'd taken about 2 ½". I added more lube and with some more deep breaths I got it past my pelvic outlet and it was in me. Woo!
Once inside, it does feel amazing; the firmness which is a hindrance to insertion becomes a pleasure. The sensation of fullness is wonderful and due to the length and shape of the tip it presses deliciously against my A-spot in front of my cervix. Due to its firm girth, the Jollet is the first dildo that doesn't shoot back out of my vag when squeezed against, so I really enjoyed being able to work it with my inner musculature without having to hold it firmly in with a hand.
There are several textured elements that give great sensation to different areas of the vag and clit, including a set of small ridges close to the end of the shaft that bump along the g-spot. The flared base also has ridges that I was able to grind my clit against when I pressed it hard into me. I used my Cordless Magic Wand against the base of the Jollet and the way the curved shape delivered vibrations to every part of my inner clit was the true magic. I lost count of how many orgasms I had using the wand against different parts of the base to focus stimulation to different areas - A-spot, g-spot, outer clit.
One of the few drawbacks is that it's not super easy to move the Jollet around when it's inside--I stuck a finger in the bullet vibe hole--but they also sell The Reach an accessory sold either alone or bundled with the Jollet (better value!) that provides a great, flexible handle and has been added to my list of toy accessory wants.
