The first thing that caught my attention about the BigBigshocked Peryton Taurus was the colour. I have not seen a dildo in beautiful blue and gold like that. I’ve complained for years about how sick I am of toys that all come in pink or purple so I was smitten by how pretty and how different the swirling tones of the Taurus-coloured Peryton were. It comes in multiple swirling colour combinations but the originality of the Taurus tones really grabbed me.
After the shock of the size of the Fenris from the same company, I searched their site and chose one with more reasonable (for me) proportions and while by no means small, the BigShocked Peryton doesn’t strike fear into my heart when I look at it. The Peryton is made from a smooth, squishy-firm-but-flexible silicone that can fully bend in any direction. When examined in close detail there were a couple of small bubbles in the silicone right at the base of one of the ridges which could have an impact on its longevity (and will require extra scrubbing to make sure it doesn’t become a bacteria-trap), a drawback of such a complicated mould shape.
If you like g-spot stimulation (or prostate stimulation and you can accommodate girth), the curve and ridges of the BigShocked Peryton provide excellent sensation to the area. And if like me, you kinda lose your mind when something is able to hit exactly the right area to stimulate your a-spot (anterior fornix), the slightly pointed tip of the Peryton does an outstanding job.
The base of the Peryton is so chunky that it might be awkward to use in a harness but the thickness of the base could provide good padding for those of us with prominent pubic bones. What it does work incredibly well for is as a suction cup since the bottom of the base is concave. I stuck that sucker on the tile of my shower and it did not budge (and in fact was a bit of work to remove). That concave base also worked well as a place to wedge my Doxy DieCast against to provide vibration throughout the entirety of my internal clitoris and indeed fireworks were seen.
The BigShocked Peryton is a beautiful toy and for the price-point is definitely a good value. If you’re looking for a girthy g-spot or prostate dildo, you could do much worse than the Peryton. And did I mention how pretty it is?
